As a newbie on the forum I'm really hoping this is not inappropriate. I just got a Sharpmaker on eBay for $47.98 including shipping and there were two more left. I've been looking for several weeks and this was the best deal I have come up with including one that was apparently unused but sold as used.

I suppose this would be the place for someone else to post the info as to how I could have saved another five bucks or more somewhere else.

I'm really sorry to have caused a problem. Please delete this thread for me and I will try to do better. Thanks.

Dude, just read the damn rules before you start posting. And no, I am not deleting your thread. We don't do that here. Edit, yes. Delete, no.

Ken, I'm truly sorry. I do my best to not pull lame tricks but sometimes my inadequacies get the upper hand. This forum is fairly complex from my standpoint in the learning curve and I appreciate the grace I have seen extended to those who can't quite keep up yet.

Thank you for helping make this forum possible. I have moderated in a much more simple environment and appreciate the effort and dedication that you and others here give. It is one of the best run forums I have ever run across.

Again, I am sorry to disturb the flow.

No problem. Live and learn. :)

you got a nice deal on that sharpmaker ,,,i love mine,,welcome to the forum,,,great place,,

:) The moderators here are a large part of why this is my favorite internet forum!:)

Thanks to them, we have a lot of "vigorous" discussion, but no fighting!

Personally I love deal spotting and I think it is stupid restriction.

Well, Jeff, I can understand your point, but the mods here do such a good job of running a nice smooth forum, I'm inclined to overlook any minor disagreements with them.:)

Post it in TGB&U, not in the discussion forums. If we allowed it in the discussion forums we would get buried in it. You wouldn't love it so much if you saw it fifty or a hundred times a day.
