I got one in Digi Cam with a polished blade.

The knife is so nice. I definitely want to get an all-black one thought because in the digital camo, I don't think is as classy as an all-black one.

The other thing to consider for anyone who wants one of these Militarys is that the knife is absolutely huge. You can try to compare it to an Endura or Pacific Salt, but a Milli even dwarves that a bit.

Also want to apologize for being short here. Ill have a lot more to say about it later.

Congratulations on your new millie, I know you will enjoy it very much.

I also just picked up a Military to see what all the hub-bub was about. I bought a used combo edge on the cheap. I must say it's nice, but man it is ginormous. Don't know how much I'll carry it. It's just crazy big. I've gone a little Spydie crazy lately. It seems like 90% of my knife purchases have been Spydies in the past two months or so. I picked up a UKPK on a whim and fell in love with it.... It's been all Spydies since.

Oh it happened for sure.

The knife is so dam'n sharp it's not even funny. No I did not cut myself yet.

I think I'll maybe be looking at getting a Para-Mili very soon though. This Mili just seems so huge. Before this, the biggest knife that I had ever seen was the Endura 4, now I have a Mili, and when I bought it I just figured "okay... so maybe it's a very tiny bit bigger..." that's not the case.

When people say that this knife is huge, they mean it. I have pretty good size hands (not like samoan, but for a white guy) and the knife is just amazing in size.

I would think that the Para would be around the same size as an Endura 4.

i think you'll be surprised at how well such a large knife can be carried.

Oh, thats the other amazing thing that needs to be mentioned-the thing fits so good in your pocket. It fits like an Endura, it just might be deeper in the pocket.

And its not much fatter at all, so its got that going for it as well.

Put your other knives away for a while and carry the Military. I put mine in my right back pocket. When you take your other knives out again, they will seem ... diminished. :D

It's a GREAT knife.

I think that Im gonna have to get a PE all-black one though. Might pull the trigger in a few minutes here.

I received my first Mili yesterday. My first impressions were WOW. This knife is crazy nice. I thought it was to large for carry until I put it in my pocket. I can’t believe how light it is and comfortable to. The G-10, the blade style, steel, quickness of deployment. The party was over when I actually checked the blade centering. It was way off. Almost (but not) rubbing the G-10 scale on the clip side. I have centered many blades before and went about centering this one. I stripped 3 screws on the scales (I use craftsman T-6) I should have heated it up first. I could not get it right. I shipped it to Golden today. They’ll take care of it. I’m sure this is not a common problem. I have never heard others with it.

I am truly impressed with the Milli. I purchased it after seeing a review here on BF between the BKC 710 & the Milli. I’m a 710 freak but it just looked so nice in the review. I’m glad I spent the cash which was the reason I did not buy one earlier. It seemed pricey. I’m happy with my purchase wherever it is. :)

Very true there. ;)

Even compared to my SMF the millie seems like big, though the SMF is a bit heavier.

It's a refined machine the Military. Excellent choice!

I believe STR posted a while back on not using craftsman torx drivers as they tend to run small, resulting in stripped heads. I stopped using my Craftsman driver after reading that. STR has forgotten more about folders than I will ever know.

I'm sure Golden will do you right.

OK. I often carry a Police or a ZT MUDD, or a Superhawk. Is the Military huge compared to them?

I have 4 Millies and 1 Orange G10 on the way! Love it! My number one Folder of all time, I have never purchased so many versions of any other knife in my life as I have the Millie.
Welcome new comers to the Millie world!

I sent mine back to Golden 2x for the same problem and they tell me it can't be fixed. They did fix it a litle were it was not rubbing but it is still near touching. They said it is because they don't have parts for older millis.

Ive been carrying it around all day so far and havent noticed any added bulk compared to the Endura 4 I usually carry.

Ill try to post some pics in a few minutes.

Finally, for you guys that NEED them, here are the pictures.

I too like some proof.

I love the Millie! Congrats on your first. It's an extra special knife made by an extra special Co.
