Just got a nice knife and could not help to share

This is a Todd Begg beggatti aka big boy. An overbuilt beast bodega. Gave it an overall windex spa and it shines in every perspective.

I can imagine the tough appearance of it after proper aging (but I won't This model of beggatti is the less shiny one as compared to the golden scallop pattern design. I will probably use a regular bodega rather than this one. Really enjoyed flipping it all night though.

I bought it somewhere else for a fair price. This is my most expensive knife but the feel of breaking the detent and flying out the blade is amazing. I can even use the short fuller as a thumb grove to deploy the blade (I prefer non flipper for such tank knives)

How do you deal with that strong detent?

Lots of flipping makes you stronger. Try laying it a little sideways and try the light switch technique. That's how I had to start until I developed a callous and a stronger index finger.
