Just got a Rat 1

I really like my Rat 1. I don't carry or use it as much as I should, but I do like it very much. I'm very interested in the Rat 2, however, I have an Esse Zancudo that fills the role the Rat 2 would. I use the Zancudo a lot for ruff on the blade work and tasks around the house.

I'd pick up at Rat 2 in a second though, if it were a convenient buy, like at a knife show or in a big box store. I dunno, ordering online and waiting just seems like a hassle for a budget blade.

Ah, disregard that rant.....I'm just Grinching today for some reason.

If you like the Zancudo, you'll love the Rat 2. They're not as similar as the Avispa and Rat 1, but they're still very equivalent blades. I've found the Rat 2 to have a better opening action and be a little more comfortable in hand, but I like the blade shape of the Zancudo better for utility tasks.

Yeah. I figured that was the case. I'm gonna pick one up soon. Maybe it will be my first after xmas knife.
