Just got the BM 921 Switchback I ordered. I love this knife already and I haven't even cut anything with it yet. I'll try to get some pictures soon. It is on Benchmade's cut list so I bumped it to the top of my list.

That is one of those knives I always wanted to try. Now that I know they are on the cut list, I may have to pick one up. Some pics would prob. send me over the top!! Enjoy!!

I have had one for some time and it is a very fine knife. The large blade is perfect for most cutting chores and the small blade is ideal for picky little detail work.

My 921 is a California raisin purple job that is a very good EDC. The little blade comes in handy for any fine cutting you need to do (like lime slices for Coronas!).

Picked mine up last week, after finding a great price at an online vendor who dropped the price to apparently move them! It's my first "satin" Benchmade, and it's sure purty! :D

I don't have it on me right now to do more porn, but here is a pic of it with my EDC collection:

Nice pics! What did you use to make the lanyard?
Lanyard is a light-weight cord which I found in the crafts section of Wally-World. Nothing really spectacular, but I've yet to jump ship and order some paracord (not worth paying shipping for a single roll or two of cord w/out ordering something else; I don't do a lot of lanyard-making to justify the expense IMO).

The lanyard on my BM Stryker is the Sebenza lanyard; because the cord was so light-weight I had to make a jig to be able to correctly tie the knot to make everything line up.

Back to the topic on hand, I'm still adjusting to the feel my Switchback. Because of the additional blade, the handle/knife has a definite "rounder" feel to it when carried in pocket. When the main blade is opened this problem goes away, the handle has a better working feel to it then.

When I go home for lunch in a few hours, I'll bring it and my digital camera back to work for a little more Switchback porn.

I added some BM 921 Switchback porn in the BFC Gallery, anyone who is interested can see them here.

Large pictures (1024x768) and several of them, just to warn those with slow connections

Enjoy! :)

Hi 22HERTZ, that model is the full-sized Griptilian. It's the Cabela's D2 model.

I may have held off for the M2 version of the Grip if I had known that Doug Ritter was going to offer one ;) but I am plenty happy with the D2 version as is!
