Darrel does great work and is in a very small league of exceptional designers.
There are lots of talented makers....but very few are exeptional designers as well.

Very cool of you Darrel to stop by. I've been a fan of your work since I first got into quality knives a few years ago. This Madd Maxx III is one of my all time favorite knives ever.

I should've clarified on my last post. The knife I recieved couldn't shave because I bought it from another forum member. I'm sure these babies come uber-sharp straight from the shop. At least I got to have the fun of getting it sharp. Mine whittles hair now.

Darrel, your new AXD Torpedo is amazing!
Here we nickname something great and exciting and call it a
"cannon". Well, if ever there was one, this design IS A TRUE CANNON!

Darrel THAT is spectacular!! I just love your work. When I looked at the latest DDR Newsletter that I got in my E-mail, there were so many knives that made my jaw drop!!
 
I never knew of all the extras you get when you purchase a DDR knife. Some...are hidden. :)

These hollow grinds are awesome and they are as rare as hen's teeth on a DDR.
 
I also just wanted to say that I picked up a Gunhammer Tanto over the last week.....WOW!! This knife is incredible!!! :thumbup::thumbup::)

I'm very excited about my celtic knot 4" bayonet grind Maxx. I've been buying a lot of production knives just to distract myself from the wait :D but the wait is well worth it for one of Darrel's pieces. Also excited about seeing The Man himself in April.
 
I'll see you all there. I'm easy to spot, just look for a guy in jeans and a biker vest with a CIB on it... and swing guards on my arms.
