Just Got My First Becker

Its nice to see someone else with some custom G-10 on one of their beckers, I have a simmilar deal on my BK-7 (grey/black with orange liners).

You can't have just one! It'll get lonely.

Congrats on getting a great knife. I just got a 2 myself and can't believe I have four Beckers after getting my first just a few months ago. I'm trying real hard to convince myself I don't need anymore but it doesn't seem to be working.

I never understood what the the fuss was about with the Becker knives, until i got my hands on a BK2,after that it was the BK11 and the BK9 is on its way,im proud to be a Beckerhead! I love the scales,it would look nice with some bluing on the blade,i never cared for the black coating,i stripped mine and patina-ed them.
congrats man you have a beautiful knife.Put it to good use :D

I'm glad you love Beckers, but there are specific requirements to become a BeckerHead, the most well known ones being: 75 posts in Blade Forums, 25 posts of Value in the Becker Sub Forum, and 5 threads of Value in the Becker sub forum. Now, on the other hand your first post is in a great place.

Back on topic: Do you mind divulging where you got that g10? And those thick liners? I already know where the sheath is from. I think liners that thick on something thinner like a BK7 would be perfect for me, since while the BK2 is comfortable, it is actually fairly small in my hand (I plan on getting some liners for my 16 as well).

99% Sure the G-10 used here is "green and black 2x2" from USA knife maker supply.

Not 100% sure where the G10 came from. I got this knife in a trade so...

Thought you made the scales since your name was JSMcustoms like customs as in customized stuff... Anyway your stuff matches this , the liners are probably 1/8" blaze orange G-10.

OK, now I know where to get the good stuff.

JSM, how do you like the feel of the 2 so far?

I love it. It feels really nice. It's got some nice heft to it, but that's a good thing. Going to a great outdoor knife. Planning on taking it tree trimming in the next day or so.

You'll need therapy for this in short order, but I dont think it ever worked! :D

And thats a very nice looking kit you got there! I'm not really fond of leather but I feel that I'll be getting one (same as this one!) so I could carry my beast with nice clothes on! :D

Thank you oXide,i just now found the requirements for being a beckerhead, ill rescind that statement,i guess ill have to start working on earning the title.let the quest begin.

On another note,I received my BK-9 today,I'm in love already.
