Just got my first busse today... I have some spec questions

I have a tg crusader with hand smoothed g10 and it wouldn't click into the kydex I bought for it. The sheath I bought would for yours as is. I had to heat it in the oven at 200 with the knife in it so one side formed to the knife, while hot I wrapped it with blue painters tape tight right below the talon holes. I got it where I liked it and then stuck it in the freezer. Has great retention, mostly because it heat formed to your blade.


I really think the sheath you got was made for one with hand smoothed g10.
 
I don't know, I sent it over to brown town for adjustment. I've made my own sheaths before and/or adjusted them in the past, I just didn't want to over-do it with the TGLB so I'll just let David check it out. I'm sure he'll get things sorted out pretty quick with no problems. I was just thinking originally that it was an extra thick blade at fault. I'll find out in a few days when he gets the knife + sheath in the mail.

Probably too late , but maybe loosen the belt holder thingy. technically speaking.
