Got my initial order in, 2 rat-3's and a rat-4 my rat-6 is on BO sold my black and grey rat-3 the day they came in, I am very impressed! I am very glad to have picked them up!
 
I am very impressed like I said with the build quaility, they have exceeded my expectations!
 
Hello, I'm new to RAT knives. I would like to know do you order direct from the Factory, or who would be the best dealer to work with? I would want someone who would get the knives in a reasonable amount of time / a large RAT dealer so to speak. Are the New RAT's going to be of D2 steel, or will some still be 1095? I would like to order the OD/Orange handle R-3. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, TAC
 
Some RATs are available from RAT. All are available from dealers, I've bought from KnifeWorks, other's: New Graham....etc look at the RAT website. I know of no blades in D2 as of now, but someone else with more knowledge will chime in, I'm sure. The RC-3s and RC-4s will have the OD/Orange (waiting myself for the RC-4). Also coming out: RC-6, RC-5 SERE (about 2 months), IZULA (about a month). Stick around and let us know which RAT you get.
 
I'll give a big shout out for knivesshipfree.com. Very fast service, and the guy is great to deal with. And yes, the knives ship free.
