Just got my new 755 MPR!!

Yea, that's how I open most, I am pretty savvy with my knife opening, but this one initially has a solid detent that keeps the blade very securely place, and when you hold it wrong with the lock-bar, it makes it even a stronger hold, so it took a while to get the right feel. I like to open them with just my thumb, without wrist action. I can swing it open easily. It's a very cool knife, that would definitely benefit from some customizing of the G10 exc... can't wait to see someone personalize these.

This is exactly how this was designed to be opened.

Gratz on your new aquisition!
Probably gonna get this one, it's too small but still looks SO cool.
Anyone have pictures?
Here you go. I love mine.:D

I was looking forward to the release of the MPR and had scraped together my pennies to buy one. Handled it at my local shop this week and took a pass. The piece I handled had great fit and finish and overall I was very impressed. The reason it did not leave with me was the size. Photos on the nets don't give you a true picture of how chunky and overbuilt it is, too much so for my EDC purposes.

I took these photos weeks ago to show G-10 color.
Flash no flash, with other colored scales etc.

They should give a good idea as to size to though.........
Best BM production fit & finish I have seen to date.

Yeah, I think you have the gist.

A chunky knife the 755 MPR most definitely is.

This knife should be great for me it looks bullet proof.
I have one on the way from a fellow member, number #14 1st production.
I'll give my opinion when it gets here.

I've been opening and closing since I got it, and I've tryed playing with the pivot screw also, and it still has the play in it also when I push on the spine the lock bar starts to slide out and doesn't look safe to me. I called Benchmade and they said to send it in to them, they also gave me a number to use at UPS for free shipping.

Thanks for the info though.

The stop pin is one that can be rotated and if you remove the pocket clip you can rotate the stop pin to a different position. This is the likely fix for your problem and also as the lock wears and moves to the right the stop pin can be rotated and adjusted to correct any issues. That is the reason for the unusual looking stop pin on the 755.
