With all the talk about the KMG and the Pheer and the two do it yourself grinders I was feeling like the redheaded step child by getting a Coote grinder. It came today. I got it with all options small wheel glass platen and lower tool rest for the contact wheel. I had started out on a woodworkers small belt sander and moved to a Kalamazoo 2 x 48 without the motor and ran that for a bit. Now I have a 2 x 72 with 10 inch wheel. It seems well made I have my motor already and should have it put together this weekend. Had him send me out some step pullys with it so I will be able to have it move slowly for me. Im pretty pumped Has everything I wanted in a grinder. Its not as heavy as it looks because its made of aluminum not the steel I thought it was.
So Already ordered belts last week so I have them on hand and I got a pile of steel and hardware to get some made up in the next week or two. Wish me luck.
