Just got my Ontario Retribution 2

Anyone taken apart a Ret 1 and found the screws for the standoffs only screw in 1.5 turns? I took mine apart after the handle came slightly loose and that's what I found. Otherwise a great knife, I won't ever sell mine either.

I truly want to thank everyone for their kind comments on these knives. Obviously I wish more folks had an opportunity to experience one. There was indeed a smaller model, but Ontario decided to only have the larger ones made. As far as I know there were only three prototypes made of the smallest one. Fox, Ontario and I each have those. Well, I assume Ontario has one and didn't let it walk. It's a fun little knife and probably would have been a nice addition to the line.

In any case, thanks again.

To EDC it I got a rig for it but I noticed the Lone Wolf - Harsey T3 sheath fits the Retribution 1 very well but can't locate one so far. If anyone has a lead on one let me know.

thanks Jerry, you did a great job designing the Retributions! i think the little one would have done well if they had put it in production. :) do you have pictures of all three together? :)

Retribution is one of my favorite knives I own. Jerry's designs are fantastic.
Here's a pic of my Retribution and Forester:

I had asked this question on a post I made about the Retribution 1, but have gotten no response yet so I thought I would ask here. Did the first Retributions come out with .125" thick titanium liners? It seems I remember them doing so, but couldn't verify. Reason I ask is the new Retrib 1 I just got has .100" thick ti liners, which are still plenty thick though!:)

Rat, I love what you did on the grips. I had taken the two I had before this one and sanded down the grips to be flat and added a pocket clip. Carried great in cargo pants/shorts!:D

Liners on mine are not .125 thick and not .1. They are about .11 (or 2.8 mm) :) I've taken mine apart and measured the thickness.
