Kuangwei, i have a number of CS knives.
First there are the "collectables", like the Mini Culloden and Safekeeper III in AUS-8 (older model), ODA in 420 steel
Amongst the folders I have a Voyager, Vaquero, Scimitar and Night Force. The first 3 all have AUS-8 steel which is good quality. I have used the first 2 as EDCs. In fact i still carry the Vaquero regularly (as in right now). Although a lot of people moaned about the use of 440A like on the Night Force I have, this one came shaving sharp and I'm happy with it.
Fixed blades. I have several with the softer 420 steel like the Kobun, Desperado and Peacekeepers. Nice knives for the price, but the 420 is a bit soft. I chipped the Kobun's edge on a paper clip. Also have a HTC Kukri and Recon Scout in Carbon V which are both exceptionally sharp and tough knives.
Other than the folders, the most used knives are the Spike and the Super Edge. I have actually given a couple of the latter away as birthday gifts.
Only really used the folders and the Super Edge for everyday tasks. The only knife i ever "hammered" was the Kukri - i once used it to cut a frozen piece of meat in half. My wife frieked out. I hit so hard that some of teh screws on the kitchen counter came loose. Kukri - 1, frozen meat - zero.

No ill effects. I have carried many of the others as part of my daily carry routine.
The folders in AUS-8 are all good value for money.
My 5 cents. I know CS and LT get a lot of bad press, but I have always liked the products. Could use better steel on some models, but i still like them.
