I have only carried and used Mission knives for the past 3 years, recently I acquired a Spyderco Rescue 93mm in safety orange it is the old model with the slot for your finger on the blade. I have always ran from serrations even partially as all my knives are plain edge only, and I never liked the hole in the blade for opening. Still don't like the hole in the blade but the spyder edge fully serrated is useful for certain task and I must begrudgingly admit I like it and have added it to my EDC, I now carry my Mission MPF 3 and Spyderco rescue everyday. One front pocket one back. Anyway to make a long story short, despite really not liking the FRN handle, well done, nice knife. It carries well and cuts good, nothing special just overall seems fairly solid irrespective of the FRN handle. Will see how well the VG10 holds up in harsh enviroments as I do a lot of hunting and fishing in ares with very high humidity and lots of salt water or brackish water.

Good job, spyderco, the knife was more than I expected in so much as I have thrown away the box and plan on keeping it.

 Excellent choice with the rescue. It's a solid knife. I just wish I could have gotten the older model with the finger slot on the blade. Dunno why they took it away.

Now you're going to have to look at the Atlantic Salt (Basically a rescue with a H1 nonrusting blade).

It is a solid knife and I find the finger slot on the blade very nice especially when cutting cardboard. Again, I'm just really impressed with the knife it was more than I expected.
