I am new to this forum, please be understanding. I hunt, and sometimes just chop down trees in our litte forest, in uneffektive ways.
I like frame locks, and making light long Chopping knives, sometimes small knives as well.

I just got the New Enlan 710 from Exduct, and would like to compare it to the Srm 710.

They are very similar but not alike.
The egde is good, excellent lock-up, shinier pocket clip, and a very good first impression.
I took it to the woods yesterday, the hollowground edge cut and carved superb.

The most noticable differences are: round jimping(instead of squared), non symetrical pocket clip, lock bar milled out on inside, colour/surface, thinner scales, and round belly blade instead of the Srm's straight blade.
It is supposed to be 1 Rc harder, hard to tell though.

sry about the poor pictures. The San ren mu is on top.

A very good, and affordable blade, but the Srm somehow feels better. It is a tiny bit thicker, I prefer the straight blade shape, the lockup is a bit better IMO, and the pocket clip also serve the purpose of stopping the lock bar.
