We do have some LONGGGGGG range plans for additional models....but they are just that VERY long range plans. We need to make some of the first models, ship them, and get more feedback before we plan to many details. Yes, we would love to have a much lower priced model, and yes, I'm sure it would involve a "lower" grade of steel and probally synthetic scales. We don't know just yet. We need to get some knives out there first. We KNOW that the way we are building the DOMINATOR and AFTERMATH will work well and hold up great......we will need alot more work to see if lower cost models will work as well.
But lets see.....with the DOMINATOR you get a Ti frame lock, assisted opener with S30V, all housed in a knife designed by DDR, that sells on the internet[ I just checked www.1sks.com ] for under $160
I think we have a winner on our hands now.....we just need to get some built and out to the knifenuts....
