Got a new one in the mail today!
And with its big brother... The Large will be kept unused, but I'll carry the small regularly along with my other knives.
And most of the collection. I do have my first, a Large PJ completed at the spa, but they couldn't get it out before the 3 week shutdown, so this is only 80% of the whole. It's all the CRKs I own or have ever owned. I plan to be an acquirer only. I like it that way. And oh yeah, I just finally got on the CRK train at the beginning of January, so that feels pretty good.
You’ve had a busy three months! Enjoy!
I'm probably done buying knives for a while. I've spent hours each day for several days, so far not one damn thing...
No folders or fixed blades (that are in stock) interest me. Being a lefty has saved me many thousands.
I would love to add a blue ti and carbon fiber higo or some nice shiro, but left handed people get little love.
I'm moving more into tools. Bought a few chainsaws, new bandsaw and belt sander. Old axes are also becoming a new love for me. I've posted some in the what did you rehang today section.
Here is my Reeve collection with some other guys hanging out in the picture. Maybe one day I'll do my wife's drawer. It's got some really nice blades, she has great taste.
First time trying to post a staged photo... Small Sebenza 21 Insingo w/ blk micarta and my favorite seasoned cutting board. I forget all the names of the wood, but the purple is 'purple heart'.
@sextant love that lanyard! i have a bead on mine, but not super happy with how it sits. I'd like to do what you've got. Do you happen to have a tutorial for it, link or name of those knots?
Thank you! It‘s called a Diamond Knot. There are a lot of good how-to videos like this one:
