Just in case Busse?

I once tried to chop a tree branch about 1.5" thick with BA3. Well, it definitely took me much longer (about 1.5 minutes) than cut it using a saw on Victorinox (about 30 seconds, my friend took the same time with his saw on Leatherman). Do you think I will have similar results with SJ ?
I start getting idea that a lightweight Busse will really become "just in case" knife if such work, like getting wood for fire, can be done faster by Victorinox...

The SJ will be a better chopper than the BAIII due to the weight and size of the blade. I always carry a SAK Champ that I've had since 1975 and at least a multi tool in addition to my fixed blade whenever I go out and about. My .02 worth
