Just in from Ka-Bar Knives is the latest collaboration with maker Jesse Jarosz, the Jarosz Folder in Drop Point and Tanto versions.

These are heavy duty blades designed after Jesse's Pulsar custom folder featuring .15 inch thick AUS-8A stainless blades. These things are smooth operating and super sharp. We think this comfortable, tough design is a home run with price point and build from Ka-Bar Knives. Pick one up today!

Just ordered one! Does the pivot require a special tool to take the knife apart? If so, is that tool included?

Thank you for the order 42pixels! The pivot would require a specialized tool to disassemble/tighten, which unfortunately, is not included.

I've really been eyeing his Pulsar. This seems like a reasonable tryout. Ordered.

** Plastic wrap, and JB Weld two part metal epoxy putty. Spread the plastic over the pivot, then mold yourself a custom tool with the epoxy putty. Doesn't work with all custom pivots, but it looks like it would here. I'll find out in a few days.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will have to give that a shot!

Someone suggested the front sight tool for a M4 rifle may work. Maybe someone can give it a try and report back.
