The Small El Patron from Calavera Cutlery custom maker Jeremy Robertson is an exercise in design restraint. This knife has nothing that it doesn't need. The convex ground, CTS-XHP (PD#1 on the flipper) blade has an acid/media wash finish that is rugged while still aesthetically pleasing. The blade ride on a caged bearing pivot and deploys smoothly and the deep spine jimping combined with the solid ergonomics of the handle provide a solid, secure grip. The frame, liner, and clip are made from 6AL4V Titanium and the frame lock features a unique hardened steel lockbar insert with integral over travel stop. This provides bank vault level lock up every time. Each knife is marked with the blade steel on the tang of the blade and the model on the inside of the frame.
