Just in -- village style 12" AKs by Kumar. Pix and deals.

ddean,
Thanks for the link! I figured that there had to be some sort of procedure here.

If there is still one available, I'll take it. Since I'm a newbie here could you please send details to nightstand101@yahoo.com

I'd recommend something bigger for your first khuk. 15" perhaps BAS or 15" AK. Just my opinion.

The 12's are good for general purpose but not for chopping stuff. I still got one though for cutting small stuff. :)

Why not fix him up right.

A full set of AK's:

18", 15", 12", & a 9" Bilton for good measure.

Pappy "Where is mine?"

I emailed Uncle Bill about getting one. If you pre paid for one then you should get one before they are thrown to the wolves. If one was not set aside for you then I will pass on my chance to get one and tell Uncle Bill to send it your way. Oh I want one but am willing to take one for the team. Fair is fair after all it just wouldn't seem right to me. The offer stands on my end. (man it stings writing that;))

It ain't like I don't have any khuks. I can waite for the next ones that come in. This is just a bit disappointing is all. Some of the mistakes in typing are because of a bandage on my lift hand.:)

Sarge, the specops officer I mention from time to time was AF -- one of the toughest (and nicest!) guys I know. His 15" AK has been just where you said, "hell and back." This guy carried it to every hotspot on the face of the Earth for 6 or 8 years. Used it for everything including a knife fight that lasted 5 seconds and used it to disperse an unruly crowd in Lebanon. You'd love this guy but professional consideration keeps me from putting you in touch.

I got a message from Uncle Bill. All is straight. Are you still getting one?

Looks like your hand got better in a hurry. I bet you've been putting hooflex on it. :D ;)

Two or three what? Is the buying spree back on? I would definately be interested if it was the same as the earlier offer.

Welcome to the cantina Truck! Hope you enjoy that little villager! Good place to start scarfing up these things!
By the way Uncle, what else did you get along with those saintly little villagers?:D

ddean,
Just like the old commercial, "I let my fingers do the walking.":) I used to have an old WWII issue Khuk, but it is no longer with me. I bought it as a child but since the sheath was a wipeout, I never really took it out and did anything with it. At present, I could definately use some tough knives but affordability is a problem (Busse, et al). This just seemed like a good opportunity to get something I could enjoy, and afford.
