Hi mlyon24, Great knives there and this is definitely the place to come and chat about them. My condolences if you lost someone. There are some great sheath makers here and it sounds like you got a line in on one. That said the black cordura one you have with the TGLB looks like a 'Spec Ops 8 inch Combat Master" which although it's not leather is still a very good sheath and the insert can be molded at home to customize fit. Either way enjoy the knives and have a great trip.
 
The original owner had excellent taste in knives, a BM and TGLB are quite the set, although a smaller busse like a warden or mentor or many others would round it out perfectly :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
