This was accomplished by having a company right in here Michigan grind the blades to Smith & Sons specs, Peter Heat Treat in PA do their magic on the D2 steel and then turned right back around to Smith & Sons for all the final grinds, bevels, handles, sheaths, everyone done by a family member working through the same routine they do for every full Custom they make at a higher price point.
