Just made a big Jump into Spyderco collecting

Congrats on a good collection! Everyone needs a Para 2. I have said it before in other threads but I just recently got a CRK large sebenza 21 insingo with micarta inlays. You would think for $485 retail that I would want to carry this knife all the time. Well, I do but my para 2, plain black scales, s30v, satin blade all for around $100.00 is the only other knife I carry at the moment. As a matter of fact, I am carrying it today. For me, that is quite a compliment to the knife and Sal and Eric and the rest of the spyderco crew. I am done buying for a little while but my next knife will probably be another para 2. I am hoping to get in on the m390 re release. That is how good the para 2 is. Get one, you won't be disappointed.

How is Okinawa these days? I spent a month there back in 1990,, with an F4 squadron from the Philippines..Played some of the best video games in my life over there..CD

BTW nice Spyde collection,I'm jealous..

Congrats!

Are the prices cheaper on the models made over there?

I don't know, I don't think I've ever seen Spyderco for sale here in Okinawa , off base.
I got this awsome deal from another American here.
I usually order all my knives from CONUS.
Sometimes the PX and uniform store have some good knives.
