Well just my luck I thought I was going to get back to making a few knives before the years end, after a long year off with my wife’s illness. She has been sick since last November with a disease that has damaged her spinal cord and she has been facing a lot of problems.

However it’s not in the cards it looks like! I have had in the past 3 heart attacks and two steint operations. Well late last week I began having trouble breathing and a pressure in my chest. The put me in for a chemical stress test this week as I have a lower back fusion and can’t do the one on the treadmill.

The stress test showed that I had some more blockage and so I go in the morning for a heart cath and/or steint. If it’s something that can’t be fixed with a stient they will do a by-pass.

So guys if you got an extra prayer lying around I would appreciate you throwing it my way. I do believe and I do believe in the power of prayer!
 
Hay Dixie, I've used up about 98% of my prayers last week
but I think I can find a couple more around. Prayers and best wishes sent your way from south MS.
My wife went in for a heart cath, The artery in her right leg was 100% blocked so they had to go through the left leg
they found 4 arteries over 90% blocked in her heart.
They sent her by ambulance to The Heart Hosp of La.
and did surgery last Fri. the surgeon found another one that was blocked and fixed it too so that was 5 by-passes.
Thank God she is doing good, going to get the staples out tomorrow. Oh buy the way she already had 13 stints.

Jerry I understand about using a lot of prayer I have said more this year with my wife being so sick! You and my wife will be in my prayers tonight!

One thing about it God dosen't set a limit on prayer, but he does tell you how poweful prayer is! And its like a quote I saw here a while back.

"It's easy to believe when things are going well, but the true belief comes when things are at there bleakest"! So I will put this all in God's hands and except his destination for me!

Guys just got a moment to take a look at this post this morning before I head to the hospital and I got too say. You fellars touch my heart! Thanks

I made up my mind before I laid down last night that I would say a prayer and lay all this in God's hands. Praise the Lord, I slept better last night than I have since I started having these problems. I am a little short of breath this morning but my mind is at ease! Now I am ready to get all this resolved!
 
I've been bummed out because my shoulders have gotten in such bad shape from arthritis I can't do much of anything. Small potatoes compared to your problems.

You have my best wishes.
 
This is Dixie blades son he had a quadruple bypass he was taken off the respirator today and will possibly be

taken out of icu tomorrow. I will keep yall updated on his status.
