Just MY Luck

DixieBlade is my dad, this is his daughter. He had a quadruple by-pass yesterday afternoon. After 6 hours of surgery we were finally able to see him. He was taken off the ventilator this morning and even had a "turkey dinner" ordered for his meal. Bleh! Definitely not mom's cooking.

He is doing well and REALLY wanted us to let you guys know he was okay! lol He still has 2 chest tubes in and is in a ton of pain when he has to cough, but he will hopefully be moving out of ICU tomorrow.
 
I was just feeling sorry for myself because of a cold. Thanks for putting life into perspective, and God bless.
 
Hey guys thanks for the support! I just got home last night the 2nd of December, around 7:30 PM.
My son and daughter tried to keep you updated and I would have been out of the hospital sooner but my left lung collapsed a few days out after surgery and had to fight that off too! I will write more later when I feel a little easier!
