I ordered 110 with Elk slabs and S30V blade with nickel bolsters. This is my third 110 but my first custom.

Sounds great Mr Bowie! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Please post pics upon arrival.

Mr. Bowie,Welcome.I hope you enjoy your custom 110.I like your taste.Heck, I even like your name.DM

I was fiddlin around on the Buck custom page and put together the same combo a couple weeks ago-too bad I aint got no money:( Knice nife-congrats-cant wait to see the pics

Oh I forgot mine will have the pins. Hopfully it will be here in about 4 weeks. And I will be sure to poct the pics.

Oh, what have you done, Mr. Bowie? No one orders just 'one' custom 110. Your bank account is toast now. The infection has started... self-inflicted, too. Maybe you can qualify for a 'bail-out'?

Seriously, congratulations to the madness. They are addictive, of course. Enjoy your 'first' custom!

Just received my Rams horn with S30V nickel bolster finger groove the other day! I knocked my sox off. What a gem. The waiting was fun - gave me something to look forward to. I just got the email that my Koa wood brass bolster is shipped. Congrats on your buck...nice combo you picked.

Didn't consider my NRA Kalinga Pro a 'custom', but it is from the Buck Custom shop. Does that count? Pretty as a picture in the glass-topped box. Just polished the brass guard the other day. Chuck Buck signature on it. S30V. Nice! I'm waiting to order a basic 110 just to make sure I have at least one. It got my attention in the June 2008 Field and Stream article about the 20 greatest knives. "The 110 appeared in 1963 and was an instant sensation - a brass-framed, Macassar ebony-handled lockback folder that was strong enough to do the work of a fixed blade. Buck sold it with a black leather sheath because it was too heavy to carry in a pocket". Maybe a custom is the best way to memorialize it!! Congrats! - bill h

I got my 1st 110 when I lost my 500 Duke and my wife trying to do the right thing got an knew nife off of ebay to suprise me(what a woman:thumbup:) I got it in the mail and found it was a 100 aniversary 110-I was immediately disappointed:foot: because I thought it was way too big to carry. I didnt care too much because I had won a new Duke at the same time. Looking back, The Duke is still my favorite Buck(just a great combo of size and appearance) but I carry that 110 as my EDC probably 90% of the time.
(no sheath) You'll love it-a mans knife!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I carry my Cabelas AG 110 as my EDC right now. But it will probably be replaced by the custom when I get it as my EDC.

"a mans knife",I like that Fritz.Trouble is my wife carries one too.Been trying to get that thing away from her.DM

Nothing wrong with a woman carrying a mans knife. I wish I could get my girl to carry any knife.
