Just ordered a CGFBM

I just ordered my first Busse, a CGFBM. I'm psyched:D . I've read a lot good and bad stories about delivery, but seen so many different stories that I'd like to ask for some clarification. As the CGFBM is not available at the Co. Store it had to be ordered from Busse proper. That said, how long should I expect to wait before seeing this bad-boy on my doorstep? Thanks for the help.

Hi Mike; Congrats on the FBM, I bet you will love it, I just received two that I had ordered within the last month but I'm sure there are many variables in the delivery schedule.
 
I think it depends on what combo you order, I ordered a Blk canvas mag with UG coating at the end of Dec. and already received it.:thumbup:
I will say I had braced myself for a much longer wait so I'm defiantly :D.
Congrats on the order, I'm sure you'll love the knife.

a lot depends on the blade coating / handle selection, I got real fast turn around on a standard blk / blk .

What combo did you order ?
 
I placed another order and I asked about shipping times.

It seems that things are moving pretty fast, Amy said my CG would ship in two weeks.

It's Urban Grey with Snakeskin, a combination I have not seen yet.

I didn't ask too many questions but I would guess that camo blades and possibly green linnen micarta could lead to a longer wait.

She also said LE's were about a four week wait.
 
I ordered a black with black/blue g10 and got it within two weeks. I had no idea how long it would take but was fully prepared to wait 2 months. Pleasant surprise. It is worth the wait my friend.

Ordered mine on the 13th shipped on the 22nd should be here this week.

Thanks for the input everyone. Looks like I should expect it sooner rather than later. Just as a little teaser it's a CGFBM green blade, snakeskin handle. I haven't seen that one myself, but I'm certainly no expert. Does anyone have pics of this combo? Just curious what it will look like completed.

Check post #69 in the "FBM compilation of pics" thread. It's a good looking combo :thumbup:
 
Did you order a LE too? If not, maybe you should consider! By far it is the best FBM so far. Satin does the magic of playing favorit. I did not think so until i hold it.
 
I wish I could've ordered an LE. No funds for that right now. I'll probably regret it down the line, but thems the breaks.
