Will a man like this one. Are the handles comfortable? They look kinda funny to me. Does the knife lock tight? I like the ZT200, how does it compare? Can't wait to get it!

The ergos, for me, are spot on. It fits into a choil grip quite naturally, and the carbon fiber looks and feels nice.

The thumb ramp is well-placed, and the fingers can go close to the edge, which I like. Lockup is absolutely solid; I don't have a ZT0200 to compare with, though. It is noticeably harder to unlock than a Mili, whose liner lock is one of the best in the business.

I would personally prefer it with a slight cutout for access, but that's cause I'm lefty.

The grip isn't as positive and confidence-inspiring as a Mili, but it's more comfortable for me.

I concur with Mr. Wong's assessment. I also would like a little access to the liner lock, which I accomplished in this thread. The handles are comfortable, and mine locks up as solid as any knife I own. No knife I own opens more smoothly than the GB either.

The GB is a beast of a knife in a smooth and elegent form. It's comfortable to use and carry although a bit heavy if compared to something with frn handles. It's definatley one of the best.

Love that mod Powernoodle.

The Bradley has a pivot bushing, which accounts for its smooth action. I don't think it is the same sort as the Manix 2 though.

i.m.o. the bradley is the finest spyderco to come down the pike. i compared it to the more expensive stretch & the gb was finished out nicer & was the smoothest spyderco i've ever owned. members wishing to edc this knife will find it's a little heavier than the stretch or endura, however the finish & operating features are tops in the spyderco line. in addition m4 alloy is one of the most ductile abrasion resistance steels i've ever used. i only wish this steel was in the endura or delica.

I'll pick one up eventually, they look damn nice, I just wish that they skeletonized the liners, they could have saved an ounce, also I would have liked to have seen G 10.

It's a beast of a knife... heavy, stout. I like it for certain uses. IMO the handle is a little to0 straight for my hand... I'd be worried my hand would slip right thru if my hand was wet. In those regards, the Manix, Mili(s) and the Stretch have finer ergos.

It's still a very good knife and a great addition to my collection.

Might not be worthwhile? This post (below) from SF says he got only half an ounce out of the skeletonizing. See his comment at the very bottom of the quoted post below. YMMV.

After seeing Gomer's mod on Bradley, I finally decided to give it a try, guess my warranty is voided too.

If anyone thinking about drill the liner too, don't bother, it's a pain in the butt to do and only saved 0.5 oz. The hole cutout however is extremely easy and make it much easier to use.

You will love this knife! I bought one, and after EDC'ing it for about two weeks, I was so impressed, I bought a spare, just in case they stop making it. And I am a lefty! I am so glad that it does not have the cut out for the lock. I have no problem in closing it. Be prepared to be delighted!:thumbup:

I love my GB, the only problem I have have is how nice it is. I am having a hard time using it cause I don't want to scratch it. This is one of the best quality factory knives that I have ever had.

Mr Wong is Right, gee I've always wanted to say that ;)

Overall an exceptional knife with solid lockup, grip while textured,
could be a little bit more grippier for my liking.
The steel is keeping a very good edge, haven't had to sharpen it
since getting it, toothy cutting, has almost a convex type edge to it
slices quite deeply due to the thinner grind of the blade, lovin' it!

G2

It's horrible, you will hate it! I have one and just to protect you from the disappointment and suffering you will feel when handling one i am willing to sacrifice myself and discard the knife for you so you don't have to suffer the agony.
DON'T OPEN THE BOX! I will PM you my adress so you can send the unopened box to me. Please send by USPS without value.
Let this horrible knife not tarnish your belief in Spyderco!

Dream version of this knife, for me, would be the same platform with a ball or axis lock, VERY slightly tweaked ergos, and micarta grips like the Ontario Hossom Retribution.

This is a question, not a challenge :) How would you compare the knife that you have in mind in your post above to a Manix 2 with similar micarta scales and a CPM-M4 blade? I'm not sure what my answer would be, so feel free to punt. :D

This knife is by far by favorite.

That will be coming up soon, a possible GB version 2 is in the works.

Care to describe it? Taking apart some CF knifes can be a PITA so I don’t intend to do a total disassembly on mine unless I’m forced to.

In my opinion the opening and closing smoothness has more to do with those hard, smooth steel liners against the PB washers with the M-4 blade sandwiched in between.
