The two things that really bother me is that it seems that around the pivot area is extremely small on all Striders....and all that blade that isn't getting used because of the choil and the design. Guess I will never know till I get one in my hand.

I did not like the GG at all, although it certainly looks cool. It would ruin a pants pocket in short order for sure.

The pivot area is strong as hell, it's certainly never going to fail.

I like the CC I have, but don't think it's worth anywhere near $500. It rattles like crazy when locked up unless I really slam it open but then it's almost impossible to release the lock.

Here are two shots of it next to a couple 70's era Puma folders that I bought new (I was a Puma dealer at the time)
