OK, this page on Bohler's website says that the Elmax used in the ZT 0561 is the "Superclean" process, which is the harder of the two types and edge retention of 931.

The cryo is an awesome budget blade. Easily the best non-US made blade kershaw has to offer. Got one for my gift and she loves the thing. And it takes a horrifyingly sharp edge.
It's incredible that Rick is giving his name and expertise in these collaborations for the "rest of us" who can't afford a real XM-##. I think it's partly some sort of penance he's doing, or some sort of counterbalance to the "tulip frenzy" his custom knives have created.
Tulip frenzy, LOL.
I hope he sells a million of em. Really. You win the race you wear the wreath.
The 561, shown on the last page, is getting more affordable as it approaches two bills, which has me thinking of a safe queen backup spare on the ready line money in the bank AKA one more.
You definitely won't be disappointed. The 561 has become my new EDC. I can't seem to find any complaint with it. I haven't been able to put it down since I got it.

Here is a picture of my 561 I got on Saturday and my Cryo slightly customized that I picked up exactly on month ago tomorrow.
Hmmmm... one reason for wanting a strong detente is that it make it easier to flip open a non-speedsafe knife. I got a Zing blem that's just gorgeous, and I suspect that the reason it's a blem is that the detente is much stronger than the one on my 561, and I can flip it open with one hand without a wrist flick. The other Zing I have, which isn't a blem, has a pretty weak detente and I can't get the blade to flip all the way open. Same with the ZT, without a wrist flick. Not that this detracts from the knife much, but strong detentes aren't all bad. Will post some picks as son as I weave a lanyard. Too busy playing with the thing at the moment.
There is a technique that makes up for weak detent on a flipper, it is hard to explain.
You push your finger down onto the lever pushing slightly upward toward the non flipping direction. With some pressure built up you change the direction you are pushing to a slightly downward but more towards the blade as opposed to down the handle. Should snap open on the 0561 with the bearings.
It takes some practice. Maybe someone can explain it better.
