Last night I went ahead and ordered a sheath from Azwelke. Taco style, black kydex with a drop loop. This is my first kydex sheath and since it was BF that swayed my decision on what sheath to get, I was wondering how others felt about their Azwelke kydex? Can't wait to get it. I like the sheath my BK10 came with, and I'll probably keep it for pack use. I mainly got kydex for belt carry. And of course any pics are more than welcome. Thanks!

Be sure to post up some pics for us when it arrives. He does good work...

I have azwelke taco style sheaths for my bk14 and bk16. I have an azwelke pancake style sheath for my bk10. Hands down the best kydex sheaths I own.

Those pancakes look great - but I sort of want a taco right now.
I thought I had enough dinner...

Those sheaths look great. I may have to send him my knife due to the liners, I was hoping that I wouldn't have to... but if I do, I see it'll be worth it.

My favorite sheaths are azwelke. Great sheaths.

Azwelke sheaths are the bomb! They have excellent retention. The knife doesn't come out unless you want it to. The craftsmanship is absolutely second to none. I also think they "ride" at the perfect height. He uses a lot thicker kydex than most sheathbenders out there. Built-in thumb breaks, no visible seams, drain holes, cool logo stamp.... you're gonna love it! You'll probably order another one for another knife as soon as you get it.

Are all the Azwelke sheaths compatable for piggy-backing or does one have to special order them for that.
It looks as though they are through the holes drilled on the edges of the sheath, but looks can be deceiving.

They should work with any teck lock and all...he knows what he s doing for sure.got a kydex belt loop a while back from someone else and it fit nicely with azwelke's sheath

This is probably a question I should ask him (Azwelke) but I'm sure someone here probably has tried it or already knows.....Will the factory necker sheath for a 11 mount to the front of a pancake Azwelke sheath for a BK9 ?
I would think so but would like to know for sure prior to finally deciding on a sheath for my 9 and next (2nd) Becker a BK11.

I don't know, but I bet if you ordered it and asked that he makes sure the factory 11 sheath will line up for piggybacking, he'll get it done, and done right.
