It's his 16th birthday, I got him a CRKT M16 for the last one, it was his first knife and I found it for such an unbeatable price that I just didn't have a choice
I gave him a plain Leek for Christmas, so I figured a Cryo would be a good next step up. My plan is to keep getting him gradually nicer/bigger knives on the Christmas/birthday schedule until he's 18, at which point if he's taken care of them (and he's done great this year!) I'll spring for something like a ZT 0560 with a custom scale.
I gave my brother a Blur S30V this Christmas. He's older than 16 by a few decades, though.
