Just Ordered My First Buck

It would be nice if you could order any blade steel choice from the custom shop mirror polished. One can wish.

As stated, while 420HC takes a mirror finish, S30V and BG-42 do not. Those two are usually finished in stone wash or bead blast, not polished. The only thing you want to polish on an S30V blade is the edge.
 
yes a polish is possable... it is jest not as high as 420
it also takes a lot to produce it...
 
Learn something new every day. I'd never seen mirror finished S30V offered and there it is on Buck's website.
 
I'll post pictures when my 110 comes in. I'm hoping that something will distract my attention for the next two months or else the waiting will wear me down. CA 10 day waiting periods for a gun are bad enough. :jerkit:
