Just ordered my first GEC

Welcome to the wonderful world of "Greateasternitus," an affliction that is hard to beat and rarely contained... Especially when you receive your first 33, then your done for. Congrats sir! :)
 
Good choice by picking a GEC. I have several and a TC Barlow on the way.:D I love a slipjoint in 1095.
 
I truely believe you'll be cazy about that one! I just got an ebony 53 Muskrat and it was hard to decide between it the one you ordered and the cocobolo 42 Saddletrapper!
 
GEC certainly do a LOT of nice-looking knives. The 2-blade Boy's Knife in ebony is a great start from the look of it (not handled one). Hope you enjoy your knife :)

You'll do it. Just get one used with a patina, or force your own. They are great users.

Pocket knives are a great addiction, better than heroin or cocaine, maybe not as bad financially, depending on what you collect. You may go withdrawal, as I am this month with no $ to spend after a raucous November and December, but at least you still have knives when the shakes or gone.

The dreams about knives can get pretty bad though :foot::eek::D;)...
