Same here, even if removed in time by a decade and a half...so accustomed to shoddy import butter soft junk that, despite reseach, my eyes about popped out of head when i hefted my first blade from this fine company.

Of course obviously handmade with remarkably primitive tooling by our standards, but that also only accented what remarkably great work true experts can do. Mine went two times to near east during peak unpleasantness and was the envy of the company. A REAL tool of the trade.

Neo will love his.
