Just ordered my first RAT...RC-6!

Nothing wrong with the Busse's. Maybe there is still one in your future ;) The RC-6 is top-o-the-line though. Congrats, a great knife!

I know there's nothing wrong with them, I just found the RAT line to be an easier to find, less expensive yet quality alternative. I'll likely still buy a Busse combat knife, but I'll wait until after we have our next child, due at the end of next month, once I'm sure of everything there.
 
I guarantee you won't be disappointed with your new RC-6! I have the Izula, RC-3, and RC-6, and the 6 is my absolute favorite. I have the benefit of working at a knife store, and whenever someone asks me the old tired question of"If you could only have one knife..." I always haul by 6 out of my pack to show them. It can do it all, and then some.

I'm glad to hear it! I need to try and stop thinking about it, the anticipation is enough to kill me already! Looks like we have similar taste in RAT knives, those are the other two, with the exception of the RC-5 that I'm also eyeing... who am I kidding, I'd love to buy them all....

Thanks! Wow, I've got say that I am just amazed at how many people have congratulated me on purchasing my first RAT... just think, by the time I own the full lineup..... :D
 
i HAVE HAD A RC-6 SINCE THEY CAME OUT. i LOVE IT. I`M GOING TO TAKE IT TO THE BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY NEXT WEEK CAMPING.
 
I have an rc 4 and Izula. Love them both. Next ill get the forum knife and I would like an rc 6 after that. Love the look of the knife, im just not sre Id use a big boy like that. Im a hiker and weight/size is a concern. Main reason I don't use Busse knives even though I love the look and feel of them.

Thanks for the welcome, I know what you're saying as far as size is concerned. Who knows, I'll likely end up getting the rest of the line-up, the more I look at them all, the more practical applications I see for each. I'm already rationalizing all of the purchases now....:D
