Update: took my rtak out this morning. It chops real well as expected,
though I still need to build trust to give full strength swings into
hard wood. Slicing could benefit from edge refinement which
I plan to do next time I hang out with my knife buddy with
diamond rods. The coating has started to smooth out and shows
hints of wearing off. The micarta scales were grippy, but they did
blister the inside of my thumb. Overall, I am liking this knife so far.
