Just Ordered My Very First Khukuri

Kamis are the Nepali bladesmiths. Kamis are part of the untouchable class in the Hindi caste system.
I'm too tired to search right now,
but I think there is a specific term for
blacksmith/bladesmith for those kamis who
enter that line of work.
So all kamis are not blacksmiths.
? but, are all blacksmiths kamis?

Welcome Roy.

Another dumb question:

The Chiruwa AK by default is the 16.6" version, correct? So an 18" AK is technically larger, but the Chiruwa has the full tang? Do full-tang Chiruwas come in any other AK length?

And from another thread, as long as we're on the subject of terms used, can anyone tell me what "PGA" means here?

Thanks!

Svashtar

Should check my typing: that s/b "16.5"... Question just arose because I have seen several people and 1 review include the Chiruwa in with the 18" AK.

Welcome to the Cantina. You've got a perfect khukuri.
You come to know perfection is the road, not the destination.
Enjoy your road!
