Just ordered this. Not my photo.

Can't wait to get it. Very attractive knife and I'm sure it will perform well.

I have been looking at that one too. I believe it said 5 1/2" knife. So would the blade be around 4 1/2" ? Please let us know the size and post a pic when you get it. The larger blade would compliment the smaller Case swayback's nicely!

That one is next on my list to buy. unfortunately i made a deal with a friend that i wouldn't buy any knives for this month so it's weeks off :(

Here is the description of the knife.

Schatt & Morgan Swayback
Year: 2010 Condition: Mint
Misc: ATS File & Wire
Handle: Morning Ash WG Bone
Steel: ATS34 Size: 4 1/4"
ID: SMMLO41001

It would appear that the length of the knife (closed) is 4 1/4".

Personally, I don't care about the size of this knife. It is just to good looking not to have.

That is great looking knife. How long have these been available?

To answer joe-bob: Most likely

To answer morrowj_98: Available end of June. You can make an early-bird purchase now.

There are 2 prior issues with the "Morning Ash Wormgroove Bone".

I really like the frame and blade choice on this one; but the lockback is pretty sweet as well.

Talk about temptation (thanks a lot, Ed  :D).

The lines on that thing look almost identical to the 3-3/4" Bose "mini trapper" pattern, as executed here by Zscherny (right).

Feels just about perfect in the hand. I just wish the S&M was under 4" as well.

Do they actually call it a swayback? It's a beautiful knife, but it's not a swayback IMO! It's a curved Jack if you consult most sources.

All I can say Charlie is that the description I gave says "Schatt & Morgan Swayback" and that is the dealer's description not one made up by me.

I see your point but regardless, I find it a very handsome knife. Before all is said and done, I just may find two or three of them in my knife box.

You got it right. It is not a sway back. It looks like a single-blade wharncliffe trapper thingy to me. :p

A sweet knife regardless.....

I carry a smaller version of that pattern every day, Ed! I'll say it again, it's a beauty. Queen did a good job on designing that blade, as well as the whole knife!

(That's glue. Just got done opening the mail.)

Two beauties, Rick! Hard to decide which is nicest!!

Looking at these pics, I must say I really like S&M. That's a good thing isn't it?
