Oh man, I have wanted one of those for a few months now, I can't decide if I want one of these or another BK9-like knife. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks. I really had my eye on the 14, which will still be mine, but started eying down the 9. I do like big blades. I have a fold up military machete with the sheath that's pretty cool. I believe it's a quarter inch thick blade.

A version with nice micarta grips, specifically designed for hunting ... Hog Hunting. Looks nearly identical to my 9.

I bought a BK9 as well and am waiting for it to come. Honestly don't know why I bought it. I have many smaller knives (fixed and folder) but there is something about that big blade that seems to get the primitive juices flowing.

You know something way back in your brain. A past life or memory, don't know. What I do know is when it comes it's going to be taken out in my wooded back yard and hack at some limbs (tree limbs).

it many times, but it's just got a great feel for a big knife.

I'll take some pics for sure. I really didn't give the 9 a whole lot of thought, until I was wondering if it would be better than my hatchet for my backpack. A knife is def more versatile than a hatchet, but in all honesty, I'll probably take both. Am really looking forward to getting the 9. Thanks for the congrats, btw.

Easy to get hooked, isn't it. I think I'm going to get 2 BK14's, then I'll be done, at least for awhile, lol. I wanted to connect one 14 to my BK2 sheath, and use the other for a necker.
