I don't have a huge pack, but I do have a Camelbak Mule that I take with me EVERYWHERE. It fits everything I need plus two liters of water. I'll dig around and see if I have pics with it full of gear........

I used the waist strap to actually secure on my fleece sleeping bag. If I'm just going fishing or what-not I'll take it off and just have the pack full of water. It's really come in handy and is by far my favorite pack.

I use the camelback commander, its large to some, but not really big enough for me. Nice pack though.

I use an mil surplus alice pack.. light, simple inexpensive..tough as nails Here is a pic of it all loaded up with winter camping gear

I use the Pygmy Falcon II for a day pack. It doesn't have space for a water bladder, but it has pockets on the sides for guyots or Nalgenes.
I went on a day hike around Cape Hedo on Okinawa island last week with it. Here's a list of the main items I managed to fit in it:

poncho
mid-weight fleece
work gloves
2x AMK double heat sheets
Nikon Travelite EX Binos
Sunglasses
lunch and snacks for 2 people
2x 32oz Guyots with cups(In side pockets)
Small FAK
MSR Pocket Rocket

And some various odds and ends. I also had a little space left over. (And for anyone thinking I was under equipped, I had various other gear in my cargo pants, on my belt etc).

This pic is a little old. The packs now have matching coloured buckles.
