just picked up a 108OT, wondering about it????

Hey guys just got back from the flea market and i picked up a 108OT with its box, and i was wondering its the original box, the tang stamp says Schrade NY USA 108OT and im wondering if this is the right box for this aged knife heres so pics

I can't clearly see the two key clues, the company logo on the box, and the tangstamp on the knife. If this is the logo, it dates from circa 1977-1982:



The 108OT pattern itself dates from 1964 through 2004. Obviously your knife is not from the Schrade Walden era (1964-1973) if it is not stamped Schrade Walden. So it would be from 1973 1/2 thru 2004. If it is original to the box, and I have guessed the logo correctly, then it is a match from 1977 thru 1982. Having the correct insert paper with it would confirm this, but without it...

Here is a 108OT box, paper insert, and foam tray correct for 1981-82.

ya thats the logo codger, all i have is the box, no papers or foam. i got it at the flea market on saturday, i payed 20 i dont know if thats a good price but i liked the knife and the box made the purchase easy. i found two more old timers that im going to get tomorrow. and im gonna go on a journey around in the country to some old stores that i know has some knife displays im hopin for some schrade treasure chests.
