so i went over my specifications on my lightweight folding knife specifications and noted how thin the 530 was, even though i wanted it super light weight, my hands are larger so the thickness of the mini grip was perfect and at a mere 2.5 ounces its awesome. It is also almost the exact specifications of my very first folding knife a gerber vallation ( which was a pos but was really nice in the hand and i loved the gun checkered zytel) and the mini grip has that too!
this knife is just awesome to use, i would drool over a mini grip in black handle, black plain edged blade and d2 steel!
