That handle is very hand-filling and perfect, plus the extra weight is nice. That's a one-off Mora blank with a custom handle made by a friend in another forum. Pretty large for a MORA... dwarfs my Companion and Bushcrafter... just shy of the Allround 5.8 but wider than the 5.8
 
while my wife never says anything about my knife purchases, there is always the eye rolling when I say 'I think this is the one!' she might feign interest but more often than not it will be the eye roll and something along this line, as my Socom Bravo arrived today ;)
my rule has always been, any toys I buy I buy with money from my leather work or from selling a knife, sharpening someone's knives or any side business that I may have at the time, I never use the 'house' money for them, and my wife knows and appreciates that, saves much trouble by doing things this way :)
