Wow.. I used to have that handle spiked Buckmaster many moons agoā¦lost it to hurricane damageā¦havenāt seen another one in a long time
I never did get one back when the type was a thing, and so mine was obtained a couple/few months ago as a nostalgic purchase for my collection.Wow.. I used to have that handle spiked Buckmaster many moons agoā¦lost it to hurricane damageā¦havenāt seen another one in a long time![]()

Wish I would have picked one up while in production. Guess I am too cheap to pay what is being asked for one now.
Yeah I bet.. I think it was like $100 or so back in the day and that was alot thenā¦good findI never did get one back when the type was a thing, and so mine was obtained a couple/few months ago as a nostalgic purchase for my collection.
I wanted it to be as minty as possible, and my specimen sure didn't disappoint... But, it sure did set me back quite a few Benjamins!
Still, it's a very cool collectable with a lot more history than one would expect
A fascinating history behind it...

Thanks. Looks like this is a dead end then. No way of contacting them on eBay so at least thanks for going through the trouble.Yeah, I have so many UGLY SYKCO users and stripped blades, I couldn't bring myself to scratch that thing up. It was gorgeous. I wanted to get a Micarta one later, but waited too long. If I find and old PM or E-mail, post... I will let you know. Must have sold on EBAY and the history will not go back that far. I got a hit searching in my email and it was EBAY December 2018, sold to user:

I still keep an eye out for a base 0566... sold my larger ZT Hinderer's and the 0566CF, but the 0566 at least fit my hand well and was probably the best assisted knife I ever owned. I miss the 0566... it is not a 0456BW or 0452CF, but it fits my hand better than a 0450... and I love ELMAX. The 0566CF was slippery though. G10 would be better... the Cryo's cannot come close to the ZT's IMHO.Itās funny; I owned both Kershaw Cryos (metal and G10), both a āmini Hindererā and just couldnāt fall in love with themā¦they just didnāt fit my hand. Then I saw this thing, which is a tad smaller, but it fits great! I donāt get itI really like it for those times I canāt carry a proper knife.
I agree with you, I have sold a couple thru the years and always miss using it later on.I still keep an eye out for a base 0566... sold my larger ZT Hinderer's and the 0566CF, but the 0566 at least fit my hand well and was probably the best assisted knife I ever owned.
