Wonderful knife and sheath. Care to share about it including maker?
Sorry mate, did not see your post till now. My apologies.

I don't actually 'make' knives, i just 'modify' them. This was a Condor knife i bought, a puukko. But i found it was too uncomfortable to hold. Hot spots like crazy. So, as i am wont to do, I just hacked bits off. Some grinding here, some sanding there, till i had a nice comfortable little rustic looking utility knife.

The sheath . . . well that was unplanned as well. I just made it up as i go along. I just go with my gut 🤣

A buddy at work wanted me to try and breathe a little life back into his abused and neglected Kabar. Slowly working on it and enjoying the process. Stripped it and cleaned it up some, put a grey patina on it with etchant, treated the leather a bit, and set a new angle for the edge. Still a ways to go…

Enzo’s Woodshop Enzo’s Woodshop Cool KaBar. What knife are you using in the One Knife Challenge?

My Ka-Bar 1256 Short Model. Haven’t carried / used it in a while due to the One Knife Challenge I’m doing on BCUSA but when I do, I typically pocket carry with the kydex sheath. At 9” OAL it’s on the long end of a pocketable knife, but it still fits comfortably in most of my jeans.

Thanks!

I’m using an L.T. Wright Boattail. Fantastic whittling knife, and surprisingly versatile.

This is the knife, along with the three sheaths I have for it.

Great looking knife. I want to hate a scandi grind but turns out they're such strong wood cutters. Learned quickly to love my Dogwood.
