That is Colonel Jackson & he is all Lhasa Apso. Amazing little dogs that are originally from the Himalayas so the have great lungs. 13lb dog that can easily go on a 10 mile hike with 1500' elevation change, daily. Also great watchdogs

Thanks for the info., it's apprecaited. I've got a Shih-Tzu that is going on 11, but has no idea. Very Hardy and great watchdog also! If I show my wife a pict. of the Colonel, she's going to want one!

The Shih-Tzu is a Lhasa mixed with a Pekingese. The Shih-Tzu is a little smaller, smaller nose & bowlegged.

You're correct about the Shih-Tzu breed. I showed my wife the pict. of the Colonel with the infidel and she loved it! I'll show her these and I know what her response will be..."can we get one?" Great photos. I used to live very near Niagara Falls, if that's what's in your photos. Do you live in that area, if you don't mind me asking?
