Tell us more about these, the maker, and the two "Walts" ?
Well I saw a few blades posted here by charliedontsurf charliedontsurf and liked them. I got connected with the maker, KiljoyKutlery KiljoyKutlery . I figured out we both live in Central Texas and we met up and he brought his wares. Great guy! He has a very artistic mind. He's shown me a few of his future designs that he's sketched out. I saved a few for other people to buy. So look him up, Gene KiljoyKutlery KiljoyKutlery .
Now the Walts knives, I purchased many years ago, as you can tell by the date stamps on the blades. He's(John Walts) a retired educater from Utopia, Texas. Owns a store there named: Huntin Stuff.
I met him at a gun show in San Antonio, bought a blade and asked him to make me another. He's not a knifemaker, but he makes knives. As you can see, he does excellent work. I'm not sure he's making many these days, but you can call him at the store and he's there if it's open.
