Just pix of knives

While uninstalling an old hot water heater in an even older 110,000 sq foot warehouse, I made a new friend! He was stuck in a floor drain, so I ended up flushing him down the toilet. Being winter here in Il, I think that was his best chance of survival:confused:, I could have left him where he was, but he probably would have ended up dead like all the other frogs I've found in this warehouse. I couldn't leave him in the drain either, he would have died, and it would have stunk pretty bad when we start building around that drain.

Gentlemen, I really appreciate these photos! But could you please make a note of what the knife is?

Some of us don't know, and lack the experience to figure out what we're looking at.

There's some great stuff that guys like me may want to follow up on-- custom or production.

Thanks.

It's a LE Mini-Ritter in CPM-M4 steel, with custom 3K Carbon Fiber scales, done in a Gold Class Mini-Griptilian shape.
How's that? :D

Nice one, Erik! How are you liking that lock mechanism?

Thanks Derek! It's not a lock per se, the designer designed it to be UK legal so it's a slip joint. That being said, that spring bar on top has a cylinder that fits into a depression in the tang of the knife when it opens and it makes more difficult for it to close accidentally (almost like a detente). If you hold the knife and rest your thumb on that bar the blade won't close at all. It's really an ingenious design for a slip joint. I really like it.
